Left Lucca and headed to Parma for an overnight stay. It was a day of driving interspersed with three stops. First to Modena to become educated on how Balsamic vinegar is made and to taste test 6 different ones, including saffron and mint. Interesting and an expensive spot to shop! Then it was onto Maranello to visit the Ferrari Museum. We enjoyed a couple of hours there and had a picture taken in a nice red one! Not ...

This was an evening enjoyed by all, but we are all realizing the tour is quickly winding down. ...

Our last game of this trip in Parma against an Italian team, the Juniors. As with all of these European club teams, the ages of the players can vary from 15 to 35. They drink beer or wine and many smoke - always a surprise for the Warhawk college players.

This experience cannot be replicated at the university - the Warhawks experience not only the culture but the people. It ...

... eat this much going on 10 p.m. Well, just to settle your stomach, let's have ice cream for dessert! Yikes, this was a meal and more.

In the morning, following breakfast we boarded the bus and dropped the team off in town for a morning practice. The rest of us were dropped at the city centre for shopping and sightseeing. Another beautiful city with several squares and farmer's markets. Reggio is known for attractive squares, grand buildings, and beautiful parks. ...
