      ... from the station and the signs in Verona were very helpful. We walked for about fifteen minutes or so, and stumbled upon the center of the city. The first thing that we came to was the Arena of Verona, I had no idea that there was another arena similar to the coliseum in Rome. It was hard to miss!       ... a nice drive and we found free parking which is always a bonus. Walked into the lovely old town, see pictures, then we heard trumpets start, so we headed to the Piazza and drums beat, trumpets sounded from the band and all the men in coloured outfits and flags arrived, we were treated to half an hour of a fantastic spectacle.
