        ... party continued out in the plaza as the temperature cooled. Too separate tables partied until 10 when the Albergues had curfew. Carlos at the other table was singing. The ancient church served as the backdrop as the plaza finally emptied. Was a good day. One to go.         There were so many housemartins nesting around the churches. The Hedge Farm ones never returned once we did the building work and I do miss them. Rather sadly there were also lots of goldfinches in tiny cages smaller than a shoebox on balconies as I walked through the town and flocks ...

        ... albergue in a little village Muruzabal. Big plus could ride to visit an 11th century church in Eunate which is truely amazing. A group of us rode there before dinner, 1 Spanish 2 Germans and another Australian - huge fun even tough no one understood each other. Today walked around 21 kills and staying in another wonderful old albergue with a 4 course dinner including paella. Had a massage after arrival here which really helped.         This town was a total surprise. Known as a wine center of Spain's northern region, this town is surrounded by vineyards and large bodegas. But, the amazing part of this town is the very large and awe inspiring castle that forms the dominant feature or the city wall.         ... middle of nowhere that had a nicer layout and a free foot spa. It's the small things on the camino that keep me entertained. Well maybe not all small considering I scaled a 30 ft steep haystack today! Can't brag too much though considering I'm sitting in a room with 4 snorers at the moment.
