    ... power again.
    Monday we drove into the city of Osorno, about 180,000 people. We strolled the city and markets and lunched at a Club. Three ordered eel and fries, but I couldn't get over the eel part and had a filet with onions, papas fritas and eggs accompanied of course by Pisco sours.
    Tuesday was another rainy day so we drove a half hour and checked in with a day pass to a hotel that features large pools and hot tubs fed from natural hot springs. Pools ...

    ... On clear days the city's setting was just beautiful, enveloped in mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. I loved free camping in our van around the coast and waking up to this beautiful scene every morning. This is also the leaving point for Antarctica and where we left my father who decided to hop on a boat and do this. Andrew and I live in hope that we will be back to Ushuaia one day and it will be us boarding that boat.

    ... big time. Although every time she won, she had to do a crazy dance with a partner and that dancing partner was me. We did some elaborate hair swinging and general comedy dancing and the crowds went wild, or so we thought when we were drunk, ha ha! Callum and Gemma joined us as well and everyone had a few drinks, although at the end of the night, Callum persuaded Chris to do a tequila suicide slammer, which floored both of them! Fun ...

    ... each other to survive as per the film 'Alive'. The border crossing is at the top of the pass and it was windy and 8c. This turned out to be our worst border crossing so far - the individual officials were helpful enough but the bureaucracy itself rules the roost. Lots of people stamping stuff to confirm someone has already stamped it and if you've got stamps missing then back in the queue !
