Some coy Basque girls admired my bike and having suitably impressed them with the tale of my journey from Ireland I saddled up and rode off for the next destination... We got fed up and though we'd find a solution driving up to the dealer and talk to him in ...

There are no spaces on the street, so it's the expensive underground parking lot once more. As we ascend to the street, a gentleman points out that parking above ...

36 hours on a ferry doesn't sound particularly appealing but I have to say that it was actually very good.

The ferry was nicely turned out. There was a fine restaurant on board (where we had a brilliant steak), they served ice cold "wife beater" and the Bay of Biscay was "as a millpond!"

    Couldn't have been better.
