... and the night market where Lance has decided he would eat satay.

We had to change hotel as the first one was dirty, very small, with unclean sheets and a shower over the toilet bowl...well, this is the way it is done here, but some bathrooms are a bit bigger. Bottom line: everything gets wet once you have showered. We are in little India with lots of backpackers and tourists and this morning Lance discovered a "real" bakery...guess who are the clients??

... een schone eigen kamer met badkamer voor had. Ik ben dus de volgende dag maar weer weggegaan, richting Maleisie.

Met een stop in een wat grotere stad (Hat Yai), die voor zover ik kan beoordelen niet echt interessant was (behalve dat ik opeens echt in het moslimgedeelte kwam). Vandaag naar het eiland Penang gereisd waarbij ik voor de eerste keer over land douane ben gepasseerd! Veel meer gedoe dan via het vliegtuig, voor m'n gevoel dan. Penang hoort thuis in ...

... rozwinięta od Tajlandii, jednak poza miastami są tu tylko dżungle wypełnione bardzo wilgotnym powietrzem. Zanim się ściemniło, dostrzegłem na niebie ciężkie i niskie chmury oraz sporadyczne błyski - znak, że w nocy będzie lało. ... The bike we were on didn't feel as stable as the one in Cameron Highlands, so we kept a steady pace, trotted all the way around the island, then went to Tesco for some rum.
