... with the cats. The cat area was separated from food and drink, so we ate while watching the cats and their entourage. When it got a bit quieter, we braved their lair for half an hour of string-twiddling and toy-dangling, the cats mostly indifferent (as cats are) but sometimes deigning to humour us. My favourite was Orange, a ginger cat whose grumpy face made it clear that he was not amused by being made to entertain. I had found a kindred spirit.

... out, they change who of the 27 come out each day so they are not all together at once.
So I am not sure now of the conservation bit.....but they do appear well and happy and we are not allowed to touch them even though we are the only ones there.
There is a nursery for the babies complete with humidicrib. There is also a kindergarten.
We watch 2 little ones play and show off and I could sit and watch them for ours.
