    ... as frequently as every 7 minutes at commuter times, and still every half hour on a Sunday. They look more like tube trains, with plenty of seating, and little maps to tell you the stations along the line. But they are also bike friendly. In one coach there was space for at least 6 bikes to be hung, and in another there was a section of seating which flipped up with bike hooks above the seats, and a slot for the back wheel on the underside ...

    ... right - it's your typical railway station suburb!!! Anyway I decided I would walk and definitely catch a taxi back. But when I walked back at 10 pm it was still slightly light and the atmosphere of the city was great - only because it was the first warm day in ages . Hundreds of young people along the river main - it was fabulous ! Could have got some great shots but wasn't game it would have been rude. Loved ...

    ... So we turned around and drove back to the sign. No one around and we saw a lady on a farm and approached her. She can only speak polish and we had no Idea. So we pointed animatedly to the cemetery sign and drew a picture of a grave. So then she gesticulated somewhat which we took as trying to give us directions.     We met a lovely couple over breakfast who told us how Poland had changed and how poor it used to be. Now it has a fabulous infra structure and is quite modern - only in some of the country towns can you see the remainder of some of the poverty. So we are off to discover some of our ancestors roots today. He said that hitler and Stalin made a pact and all the Germans were driven away from Prussia and the German Ukrainian were re settled in Prussia . So it wasn't their home ...
