... I’ve been here but it was cool to hear him explain them a little more. He also took us to a place called la Lonja. It was built in the medieval era and used as a place to trade silk and oil. The building wa absolutely beautiful. Huge columns led up to massive arched ceilings. There was a cute little garden outside and a couple other rooms to explore. It amazes me that they could build like that so long ago.

Yesterday I had to give my first presentation in my cine (cinema) class. It was 15 minutes long and all in Spanish--I was definitely nervous considering I'm being graded by an actual Spaniard rather than my American professors who have a little more sympathy, but I think I did pretty well!
