Those of you who know us well will understand straight away why this entry is named this way. It is not our age, or how many gelatis Greg has had on this trip and not even a secret code. For those who don't know us so well - all will be revealed.

The focus for our visit to this area is to attend the World Superbikes at Imola on the weekend. BUT what motorbike rider could come to this area and not have another focus?

Happy birthday to our eldest son Stephen, we hope it is a good one.

After leaving Siena, we rode cross country to Pesaro. The ride was about 250km - one of our longest yet - we really have been taking it easy! The scenery changed as we rode east from the pencil pines of Tuscany to the lush green pastures of Umbria. We arrived in Pesaro, in the province of Marche, about 2pm and set out to have a look at the town. Greg says he has finally found an Italian city he could live ...

... had enough time to check out the beach. After all, Rimini is a beach town.
First stop was a gelateria. The lady at the counter said her favorite flavors were nutella and Alabama, so that's what I got. Apparently "Alabama" is the world's best cookies and cream. (It even put the Cookie Monster by Lansdale to shame, and I love that stuff.)

Our first couple of nights in Greece were spent in a place called Alexandroupolis where we had found a campground that was open, which turned out to be a bit of a wonder in Greece, but it gave us the time to have an admin day, catch up on emails, blogs and also to do some washing.

Whilst there, we also caught up with some of the Dutchies that we had met in Turkey (travelling in an off-road expedition truck) and also met some Germans who were on their way ...

Today dawned bright and sunny, and relatively warm after the icy wind of the past two or three days, and it certainly made a huge difference to the appearance of the town. The sun sparkled on the wet cobblestone streets, and fairly bounced off the creamy brown brickwork of most of the buildings.
