... t remember if the parachute made the same sound as it did from the ground when I was watching but this was scarier than the jump itself. Especially when the pilot loosened the harness and I dropped about 5 or so centimetres. The harness dug into my thighs and I wriggled to try and get a little bit more comfortable. Because I didn't want to do any g-force spins the pilot gave me the handles to the parachute and I got to pull down each side to make us turn left or right ...

... enough coins to pay for it - yes, the Swiss make you pay for your showers even though it's one of the water-rich countries in the world - so was forced to finish washing my hair in the sink. For dinner that night, the Topdeck on-site chefs served us chicken in white wine and mushroom sauce with vegetables and apple strudel for dessert.

... played … well, I don’t know what it’s called, but it consists of a ceramic bowl and a five franc coin. The coin is spun in the bowl and the guy keeps it moving by gently moving the bowl. It makes a noise somewhere between a fire alarm and jingle bells. And then the accordionist joined in and they both sort of yodeled. It was quite an evening.

And now it’s 11:40 p.m. I really hope I don’t wake up super early again! Gute ...
