So today I acheived most of the things that defeated me yesterday. I have had a key cut so I get use our ski locker. It may have cost 12.50CHF (that would be Swiss Francs or Chuffs as they are know here) but I weighed up the other option of lugging ski kit to apartment door, hoping someone has left me a key before trekking downstairs and up again all season. This morning is supposed to be the team meet on the mountain but as last night was a big one for some and I don't want to be slowing the group up on everyone's first opportunity to get on the hill I opt for trying to get some jobs done and some resort navigation.

Team dinner at 14
... fig chutney and toasts and then-yes more!-honeycomb and apple parfait with apple sorbet. My goodness! The most incredible meal I've ever had. The chefs are outstanding. The service was smooth and charming, so impressed with the hosts.
After finishing our drinks in the lounge the team head out for a few drinks on the town. I'm entirely sure that Verbier nightlife is quite me. Very different to La Ros vibe of fun and friendly. I need to do a bit more expolring to find my fit I think.

From the top of Europe to Grounded in Grund
... in Grindelwald, we went to a restaurant and had a few beers outside a pub to celebrate his success on the train by himself! It was a beautiful afternoon in a beautiful villlage.
We sat by the nicest German couple on the train back to Wilderswil, and they recommended an Italian restaurant in Wilderswil. We took their advice and it was so good!

A Day at the Falls..heaven - Day 33
... there is a small herd of cows below us, all with bells on and the goats are scrambling down the mountain as we write. Fabulous! At the back of the hotel is a cow barn and a dung heap that all adds to the authenticity of the place.
