So we arrived at the campsite at Imperia with another problem with the Alarm Siren Sounding and the Engine Immobiliser kicking in... We now have 3 problems still to sort out, the Fiat Speedometer, Kitchen Tap and the Alarm..! Claim with Amex being processed for the Water Diesel and the repair from the Fiat Dealer to flush the system and just to keep everything ticking along also contacted AGIP Service Stations HQ... ... Florence in to one day! The uffizzi in itself warrants a whole day to appreciate the immense amount of art work they have on display! In order to avoid queing for hours we had pretty booked time slots for both museums, uffizzi in the morning, academy in the afternoon, so we couldn't really change plans. Menton was our final destination. It is a scaled down version of Nice with lots of people in the sunshine sunbaking on the stony beach and lots of grand hotels. Enjoyed dinner on the esplanade looking out over the turquoise blue ...

We set out to find the 'most beautiful' village of Apricale. What we did find was terrible,
narrow roads and roads where half the road had disappeared due to landslides. The views we got were amazing as in the winter the area is a cross country skiing route. However the nerves were a little frayed; and I wasn't even driving.
