... with the rhythm of the surf pounding – and sometimes sea critters come to visit - why leave?
One small inconvenience – we have to travel about 400 meters up a steep hill (traversing lots of uneven steps, some about two feet high) to get to the old town where everything is located - restaurants, shops, laundry. But the entire experience, not to mention the fresh seafood is well worth the trip!

The cable cars (two parts) were spectacular in themselves - dangling under small cabling, we made our way higher and higher to the first stop. The ride overlooked the Aosta Valley below, and up to the massive snow capped peaks above. ... Tom had researched a good place to eat, so we were on a mission to find it. We ate at Li Jalantuumene Trattoria and I would give Tom an A+ for his homework. Since we didn't speak Italian, the server had the chef come out and translate the menu for us. We asked him what he recommended, and we ended up getting gnocchi with a ricotta cheese sauce, ravioli with a broccoli sauce and shared the beef ...
... et touristique de Monte San Angelo, jumelé avec le Mt st michel en Normandie. (désolé pour les bretons) . ou soit disant le saint et Archange Michel aurait combattu et empalé le diable en personne. Une grotte, encore présente, etait le "stade" du duel !!
Mais la encore Le st patron de la brume nous enrobe , et cette fois avec une pincée de bruines, la mer n'est pas loin. on comprend pourquoi aussi le bourg est jumelé au mastodonte normand ...
