... It was a great day enjoyed in perfect weather, the conversations were fun as we interspersed between our dodgy Dutch and English but at the end of the day we were able to communicate well enough. Amy and I ended up being the last to leave, with Hans, his daughter Maria and her partner Jan. LAST DAY, Somewhere in Germany speeding along at 120km/h

Day 70, a nice round figure that is all I can think of at this point in time. I am in a train racing towards the Dutch border somewhere past a place called Bielefeld where the train stopped for a few minutes. I have a compartment all to myself but it is not cozy. ... the sun was out so that was really lovely. A couple of playground stops later and we were worn out and on the way home. I would definitely return to Horn, even to stay for a couple of days it seems like it would have enough to do and would be relaxing.
