During my teenage years, when road trips were still cool and no low cost airlines existed, my family travelled to Namibia for holidays about two or three times.

So when a trip covered by Sasol, sponsor of the national women's team, to accompany Banyana Banyana to watch them play an international friendly against neighbouring country …

If you're a friend of mine you know I am not a huge fan of theme parks and roller-coasters… I am that person who goes to the theme park because they don’t want to miss out on any of the fun anyone else is having and then when it comes to actually getting on a ride, I have to be dragged, literally I’m a five year old child kicking and screaming but once I finally brave the ride, I am on a high and want to go again. The strange thing is I ...

... the walls with colour. Although the kids are bushmen children, the teacher of the school, Helma, is not from this tribe and talks to them in Afrikaans and English. Their little sing-song chimes of "Good morning Teacher" with their bushmen accents would just melt your heart. They chatter away to each other in the click language their parents speak, but to Helma they communicate in English and Afrikaans. Helma, does incredible work teaching them in 2 rooms and over ...
