... and walked around the old town. It was very cool actually...better than we were expecting. (Since we had enjoyed our short time in Stuttgart more lol)... We cruised the streets and checked out the Rhine then stopped for a excellent lunch.
Afterwards we topped up essentials from the pharmacy and then decided we would find a CrossFit box Gaz had googled. We got back to the car and cruised over.

Today I took a day trip to Eisenhüttenstadt, a city that was developed in 1951-1961 (as Stalinstadt) around the East German steel factory Eisenhüttenkombinat Ost. Now that the factory is gone, there is a definite sense of absence, like mill towns in Massachusetts where the mill has closed, or towns in Western New York where the local factory has shut.
