A day trip from Lucerne to Interlarkin made up for this however. The train ride was something to mention in itself! Our train went all over the place. Wound around, went through and most impressively went uphill, I didn't even know that was possible on normal train tracks. The scenery was very beautiful! ... that we saw was a rebuild version. I didn't walk through the bridge that cross a river to another end, but instead I strolled along the river side next to the bridge. Some cafes/pubs/restaurant were open and it was a good spot to sit down with a cup of cappucino while seeing the surrounding scenery in this cold weather.
