We are given a table that is ours for the duration of the stay and a waiter who looks after us every meal. If you take the time out to learn the language and way of life for the staff and locals, you can make your stay even more rewarding.

... this place is, we got ready for dinner. Before we headed for dinner, our butler brought us a snack of assorted chocolates and other snacks, which apparently is a nightly thing! Also, they have a shark feeding every night at 8. We decided to walk over to the bar and get a drink and watch the feeding before dinner. ... 8217; ‘Actually. No.’ ‘Never mind. I’m here now.’ It appears I can find the MOE Ghazee Building in Ameer Ahmed Magu, which is the next street over from the hotel. Minutes later I am outside the MOE which is on the second floor of a five-storied, aqua-coloured, roughcast building. The offices are well appointed and everyone is extremely well dressed. Men and women are in western business attire and some of the women are in black or coloured burugas.

... some places, so we were only in water up to about our waists the whole time! The water was beautifully warm, but not hot, and the sand is deliciously soft underfoot. And NOTHING slimy or unrecognizable. Sorry, New England, but I'm hooked. This is unreal.

We have signed up for a snorkeling adventure trip for Saturday, and tomorrow, will rent snorkels here. Nate almost has me convinced to go snorkeling ...
