Beautiful walled village in Franconia. We drove through stunning scenery and arrived to glorious sunshine. We walked the perimeter wall and the charming cobbled streets of this picturesque hamlet. Spent the evening sampling regional wursts and beer. We chatted long into the evening with a delightful German couple, who Brenton may have invited to Adelaide for a holiday! This village was certainly one of the highlights of our trip so ...

In the 13C, local bishops were given the status of 'Price-Bishops'by the ruling emporer. This made them not only a religious ruler but they also became head of the secular society and ...

... exhibits of medieval law. For example, if a woman beats her husband, the neighbors can remove their roof because if he can't defend himself, he's not worthy of protection against the weather!!

Lastly, went on the Night Watchman's tour of town. Super touristy but so well done it didn't make difference.
