While we ate, we noticed a kid on a bike just doing laps of the roads of the campsite. A bit of a criterium of his own, perhaps. This guy was maybe 10 or 11, and was riding a bike that he’d grow into eventually, but it was clear that he enjoyed being on it, ...

We dropped off our cycles and had a last drink at the bar. The Boden family were there again – Page 82 tonight. The weather was gorgeous today and it looks promising for our journey home.
We have cycled all the tracks on the island this week and clocked up about 80 miles in 6 days. Luckily, most of it was flat as we did it on "shopper" bikes. Nice baskets ...

Weather this morning dull and overcast.
We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
Nothing too exciting – just another day at L'Herbaudiere.

... We went to the snack bar and shared a pizza. Very pleasant guy running it but we were the only ones there. Also, they were offering the same wine at the campsite restaurant at €14 when it was €18 at our campsite. A good swimming pool and a covered swimming pool as well. Also, an ice cream cabinet for kids which strangely ours doesn't have. We both wished we were ...

Twice in the last two days, I thought my camera was broken but both times it was my own ineptitude – I left the lens cap on today! Trying to find a path through, we ended up pushing our bikes about a kilometre through sand – I wasn’t impressed.
