Please follow this link and read the story on the highway itself that we have chosen to take from the Rio Grande Valley west to the coast, and then getting on Federal Highway 15 south to Tepic, where we took the coastal road 200 to Puerto Vallarta. I cannot describe it better.

... The black clouds were looming and I just found one on the main road for 11 ($16) (and it has internet) when the heavens opened and the roads quickly turned to rivers. I even used my **** Spanish to get the room.......well, Spanish, pointing and the price list !!
