... the signs make sense instead of guessing and back tracking was learned. This trick may have come into play a few too many times along the way. For a place so frequenly drove you think they would improve their signage. The amount of signs on a 45 degree angle and or with curved arrows meaning god knows what was hilarious. ... This last train went inland along a river valley at quite a speed, with the mountains towering along each side, until it arrived at Sulmona. Our B&B in Sulmona, Il Marchese Del Grillo, is absolutely beautiful. ... hypothermia (seriously it was unbelievably cold, damp and windy). We soldiered on, kept calm and carried on.
