... over 1.5 million tourists each year as it is the source of a natural spring. It's wierd seeing a fast flowing river and then walking 50 metres "upstream" and there only being a trickle.. and then a bit further and no water... nothing but a big cliff straight up!

Today we drove to Avignon. Oh my god at first it was so dificult to fibd the way!!! (we don't use any navigator) But then we gor used to it, and finally arrived to Avignon.

... the beautiful mountains in the south. Rained the whole way. Arrived in Avignon about 9 pm and made the short trek to the hotel. We checked in and went out exploring the dark city. Found an "Irish" pub and had a beer, listening to a DJ play some horrible Americana-esque rock and roll and 80's junk. At lest we had the beer. Ree ate a huge hot dog that came with fries ON TOP. Sleep... and don't let the bedbugs bite.

It was a little awkward hanging my underwear up in the middle of the courtyard for everyone to see but she said it doesn't bother people here. So as I'm typing, my underwear is hanging off the clothes line waving in the wind. I came in and did a little more homework and packed.
