This Saturday I spent the day in a beautiful mountain town towards Switzerland. It's not a very big town so there wasn't much to do for more than a day but it was a great day trip! We left Lyon at 7am, got there at 9am and then left around 6:30pm.

The saucer on which Helen's wine was delivered had a brief reference to the brand of coffee the café served i.e. "Cafes Folliet", but mine had lost the top of ...

... was probably the coldest place I have ever been to, but also one with the most beautiful landscapes. It has the feel of a town from the middle ages with it's castles and narrow alleyways, while at the same time feeling quite modern with a mall, train station, and as a recognized destination for skiers and snowboarders. The lake for which the town is famous is gorgeous and from what my friend described seems like an amazing spot in the summer. While my sister and I were there ...
