... to the fine dining restaurant on the ship, their shout! It was the second time they had shouted me dinner so I was very grateful for the offer. It was a lovely meal, and a wonderful setting looking back at Monaco on my last night. I felt drained, but content.

Thanks for reading, I hope you all enjoyed reading about this European adventure half as much as I enjoyed doing it.

... a policeman standing checking for anything suspicious. Winding our way down to the coast line, we ended up parking directly where the circuit of the grand Prix passes the main harbour. A constant supply of top end luxury and sports cars driving past us, not to mention the massive luxurious boats parked in the harbour.Walked up and around Monte-Carlo following the circuit, admiring the old grand buildings followed by modern skyscrapers ...

Train travel in Italy is always an experience and we had 2 connections today just to keep us on our toes. We got to Riomaggiore and the first train was over 20 mins late and when it finally arrived at our next connection in Levanto it was over 30 mins late ...

... hopefully along until I hear an Australian couple conversing, then ask them where the beach is. I'm close! This is good, as I reeeally want a swim by now. The beach is lovely and uncrowded. I more paddle and lounge in the water (perfect temperature) than swim, until I get bored with no conversation, no flotation device to lounge on, and no goal to swim too. Then it's sunbathing while listening to lapping waves until I get fidgety ...
