... the day much more bearable as it would have been torture up on the hill with the mob all day.

It wasn't long sitting in the rarified atmosphere with all the rich snobs before I actually did start missing the mob a bit. It was a whole different clientele staying at the Fairmont on race day, and it started making me feel uncomfortable. I knew where I belonged so I legged it all the way back around the track to the ever increasing crowd back where I started.

... the park by the casino and the pathway by the ocean to the beautiful beaches. They are rocky but have barriers for great swimming. There are swimming areas at the port and a little cove on the way up to the cathedral as well. We went back out to take these in and see the streets that host the Grande Prix.
