... under $100 for both, so $75 U.S. We find that the drive is still 5 hours from here putting us at an arrival time of 9:15. We have been told to be there no later than 9:45. We twist the throttle a little more and calculate our gas so we only need one more stop. We gas up NASCAR style, and put on another layer of clothes. It turns dark and the road slims down to two lanes. Not much traffic so we slip behind whatever car or truck we can allowing them to scout for moose. ...

... Albert. It is supposed to be the highest concentration of moose in Quebec but we didn't see any. We did see two several days ago, but not in the manner we had envisioned. They were splayed spread eagle across the back of pick up trucks. Speaking of Eagles we haven't see a single bald eagle on this trip. Everywhere I have traveled in the norther environs around the ocean I have seen Eagles just not here. There were portions of the road that were patches ...

JC was doing well but my luck was limited to small wins - Larry Lobster paid out $30.00. It was an early night as we are heading home tomorrow after breakfast. The girls had supper at Crepes Breton in St Foy, then continued on home. They reached St. Hubert at 12:30 am; another long ...

We woke up around 2 am, hearing what I at first thought was wind, but turned out to be waves lapping at the rocky shore just below our front wheels. By the time we got out of bed a few hours later we saw the tidal zone exposed again. One last walk and photo shoot along the tide pools, then off to New Brunswick and points south.

We cut across the Gaspe Peninsula through what is the northern most portion of the Appalachian Mountains. At Campbellton, New ...

... it is. Mind, as I think I've said before, decent weather and amenities do make days on the road feel better. We are not exactly sure what town/village we are in as it didn't matter much... we are in Quebec and east of Maria (that's the last little town/village I recall). Definitely, we are in Quebec-- signs have gone from being in two languages (most of New Brunswick was like that) to being in just one, French. I understand enough to get by mostly ... the ...
