... but I've seen enough 'antiquity'...I just wanted to hang out in town here. It's a beautiful sunny,warm day - and shops open despite it being Easter Sunday. And the open air cafes are festive with music and lots of Internet access.

... getting darker and we hit some patchy rain, which tests the new wiper arm, Les has a painful arm today and winces when using first and reverse, after a couple of hours we pulled off the motorway and I drove to our camping spot, situated behind a sports complex looking out to sea. ... the ruins and even added some of their own buildings. The later Christian invasion resulted in many buildings being damaged and looted. This is story we hear repeated over and over again.
The ruins are spectacular, as the photos show.
The first ruin is the Pyytaneion, featuring the Altar of Hestia. Is this where they worshiped lingerie?
This was also the sight of a sacrifice on the first day of the games.

... return to the dinghy.... And we quickly made our exit. Once back on the boat, Ty wanted to go shore, and skip some rocks he gathered in the cave. We dropped him off at the beach, and returned to Milena. Ty was on his own private beach skipping rocks, then climbed the hugs rock, and flattened himself on the top.
