Had an amazing sleep last night and woke up fresh and ready for the day! We decided to do some touristy things today and first up was the Heineken factory. Took the tram across town for what felt like an hour and went through the self guided tour. We tried the Dutch specialty, Pannenkoeken plate sized pancakes covered with icing sugar, Stroop (syrup) and either sweet or savoury toppings. ... was probably the coolest shop I've ever been in. Later that night we all went to dinner in town at about 10:00 as we timed dinner to finish just in time to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at 12:00. The wait was definitely worth it. When it sparkles you get to the see it in a completely different light.
