    Said our farewells to everyone this morning and then we set out for the old Olympic stadium. On the way there we witnessed the changing of soldiers at their post which was kinda cool. We never did figure out what building they were guarding but I'll have to look that up. I forgot my student card for the Olympic stadium, and didn't wanna ...

    Today we went on another boat tour but this one was much more relaxed. We're currently staying on the island of Paros but the trip was to visit the waters around Antiparos (which is on the opposite side). We had our first swim stop at the Blue Lagoon, it was so amazing. The water was a crystal clear turquoise blue, just like a pool. The temperature was cold at first but I put so much energy into treading water ...

    ... describe how amazing it was. So much flavour and fresh ingredients. The olive oil they used here is outstanding and just adds so much to every dish. For our mains, Don ordered the grilled octopus and I had a lamb and potatoe stew cooked in a clay pot. Both dishes were fantastic. So far this restaurant tops our list for this trip. Our whole meal cost us only 30 euro total which is amazing for the quality of food we had and included beers as well. ...

    Thought we would explore the south & south east coast of Paros today. Looked for Voutakos Beach which is supposed to be located not far from Pounta where we were staying. Could not seem to find it even after several attempts! However we did manage to find a beautiful little bay. We then proceeded to drive through Aliki to Glyfa & Dryos. Dryos is a beautiful town.
