... but if you were going that speed, you were on a date with your maker! We managed about 40-50kph and ended up being 2hrs. However the hotel we got at the end of it was worth. Hotel Bastion - NICE! :-) Nice if you have any money, which to the surprise of us all...we had about 200UAh, enough to hold the room hahahah. We found a cashpoint so we got all that sorted, followed by a beer - don't ask me the name! ...

Why Golicyn? It is the name of a nobleman who brought French grapes to the Crimea and taught people to make a real champagne. Or at least sparkling wine because “champagne” is the name reserved for the liquor from the region of Champagne. Golicyn lived in the area, and in a nearby cave he kept wine and had guests. So say the legend. Now the famous cave is on our path.
