Where can I begin with this crazy trip? I came here to visit my beloved Kinga baBinga and I have been having a great time.

So, what are my opinions on Poland?
I think it's a really nice country. I have made some lovely friends here and met some lovely people. Many people are friendly, and most are more than willing to practice their spoken English. I am staying in a small city called Rzeszow. There are around 200,000 people ...

... They are so charming, so simple, so natural also in the sense, that at that time, building churches was natural. We find them in different states: some have been updated with metal roofs, some of them are completely wood,, some of them are almost bare inside, some have paintings on the walls from the 16th century, some from the 20th century, some have barock interiors, everything goes. ... Lviv and I navigated us to my hotel - the George. Alicja is staying at another one nearby (she's staying at the George tomorrow night). She's going to join me on my tour with a local guide tomorrow.

The George is a grand old hotel with a wonderful sweeping staircase. I'm in s standard room and it's absolute luxury as far as I'm concerned - I can even get the BBC World on TV!!

It's been a long day but fun since Alicja is such great company.

A travel blog entry by istanbultoparis on Aug 09, 2010

... There is a marked difference in the quality of the roads between Poland and everywhere that we have ridden since we left Turkey. It makes for a much more comfortable ride and hopefully fewer problems with the bikes.
We are back under canvas tonight in a very nice campsite. All in all a good Monday!

      Best wishes from us all

Relaxing and having fun with my cousins

After my long trip trip through Africa I've been just relaxing, having fun with my cousins and eating the world's best home-cooked meals in Poland. I'm so happy to be back in Poland with everyone! We celebrated Michal's & Asia's (2 of my cousins) 5th birthdays today so there were a lot of kids around. I think I consumed about 25 pierogies in one sitting (at ...
