... car itself must be quite new and has all the modern electronic gadgets on board. When I first stepped aboard I thought the car would carry about 30 or so people but looking at the sign above the door it is limited, wait for it, limited to carry 102 passengers and 1 operator!! They must be squashed in like sardines when it’s that full!!!

... we went to Polizzi Generosa, about 12 kilometers towards Cefalu, parked and walked the steep streets of this little town, being careful to park in a safe and non-ticketed area. ... Giant's pot. Disappointed not to find a large pot of marmite, as my imagination had led me to believe... this site was created by erosion during the ice age, these are little more than deep holes in the rock, one of which requires climbing up a iron ladder and the other is a deep pool of murky water. It was certainly worth the stop, as there was of course a geocache there and on International Earth Cache day... it couldn't be missed ;).

... place was closed and we couldnt find the other. So there went our plans to bike out to the castle and/or the mountain museum. We decided against the cable car as well as it was a foggy rainy day, and we would only get a lovely view of white, white and more white.
