Paseo de la Reforma 24 Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico, 06040, 55-5002-6300
... had left town about the same time as the Aztecs. As I started (slowly) climbing I could hear the woman behind me hyperventilating. I hoped she had brought her own defibrillator. When we got to the top of the steps, there was a short scramble over some stones to the top of the pyramid. Hyperventilator commented that they should have built a ramp. Yeah, slacker Aztecs, what were you thinking?! It was then that I noticed she was wearing massive bell bottoms which looked like they ...
Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico annoiatissima... The National Museum of Art was also a noteworthy place. It has a reception hall with the most intricately painted ceilings imaginable. There were all kinds of art in the museum from old mexican paintings, to old photos, to Catholic religious art, to modern art - all it needed was a little facebook graffiti and it would be good to go! We had fun doing watercolor painting in the little kid room as well. People watching outside the Museum on a Saturday afternoon is also a recommended ...
Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico smcollins... which appropriately concentrates on Mexican culture, such as Mayan, Aztec and Olmec culture, as well as colonization by Spaniards. We cheeped out and passed on getting an English guide, which was a mistake as the museum was huge and there was a phenomenal amount of information. There were many English write-ups, and we thoroughly enjoyed it, but came out perhaps even more confused than when we went in about the when ...
Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico chadsteph...

Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico rayou... unless you are used to being packed in like sardines. The whole system is well planned, incredibly cheap (2 pesos/ticket, which is less than 20c) and very well maintained. The only place we couldn't get to easily via metro was San Angel and Xochilmilco. Taxis were plentiful with lots of Sitios locations (registered taxis) in every part of the city. The sitios are a bit more expensive than the non registered taxis, but strongly advised. Unless you are with a local ...
Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico keagirl... lot of poeple in a large sort or multi-leveled entry/gathering area. You could not just go pick things up...catering company workers would bring them around on silver platters. It was very funny to see the poeple swarm around them and grab things off the trays. "look there is one comming from over there...lets get some!" At first i was hesitant to try for two reasons: first i am not much for casing the poeple with the trays, i actually felt sorry for ...

Mexico City, Central Mexico and Gulf Coast, Mexico astre... had used unnecessary force, so the students joined together and fought against that. The government had organised a huge execution, with snipers and tanks. They also had the electricity timed to be cut. It was completely covered up with the media. When it was finally reported, it was only said to have been a few hundred killed, but in fact it was more like a few thousand. When we were there the weather had ...
Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico aussieesteban... gracias hombre, but i've got to try and get some rest before my flight... and with that, two heavyweight camarrados rode off into the night. my eyelids still had 5 hours of bright flouro lighting to contend and we'd smoked the last of my cigarettes. using my backpack as a couch, i leveled out against a row of chairs and nodded off. for those of you who wanted presents: you made my bag too heavy to carry. i had to hire a beetle to tow the zipper shut.
