4) It has not been uncomfortably hot yet - again about 29/30 today.
5) I've driven in New York and London England and I can say the driving here is worse than both of those. Side streets generally have no signs and lanes don't mean much at all. Combined with a very aggressive style it makes Toronto seem like a walk in the park!

Running the Gauntlet to Mar del Plata
... that it was a little more nervy drive especially when we were stopped a second time to check our papers. Aside from that it was an easy drive through the Pampas, or prairies - as flat as you can imagine for as far as the eye can see.
Well we were rewarded for our efforts once we arrived in Mar del Plata (MDP) mid-afternoon and found our hotel. Just spectacular - we are in the NH Gran which is the central historic hotel of MDP that is the symbol of the resort town ...

A small five and a half hour coach ride away from Buenos Aires is Argentinas biggest beach resort Mar del Plata, the next port of call for a few days.
