... started well sun out third day went on to Vouvray good site in middle of town quiet. Got bikes out Wednesday to go to Tours. Wine tasting at Chateau Moncontour in Vouvray ( Chris do you know them the guy knew of you? ) bought two bottles of wine. Been about 20 degrees so quite warm. First week over still learning. ...

... Finally we took a boat ride on the Seine river to see why Paris is called the city of lights! I am always sad to see my trips come to an end but I will treasure the memories of seeing France for the first time again through their eyes. Even though I know the students will be so glad to be home, I know they too will miss this place and this experience that we shared together. They should all be very proud of themselves as I am proud of them! It truly was a "Bon voyage"! ...

... difference at the pool was that men had to wear speedo type bathing suits. If they were wearing typical American swimming trunks, they wouldn't be let in. I haven't been able to figure out why, but that's the norm here. I had a really nice time, and it made me realize how little time we have left. I'm going to miss everyone so much, and hopefully I'll still be able to hang out with everyone once we return to MSU!
