... his works/inventions etc. VERY cool and definitely a big plus in low season as it was very quiet. Some really awesome inventions, so ahead of his time, but some really gruesome military inventions too!! Spent a night at a winery after purchasing a few of their bottles...of ...

Coffee was the next order of the day (and beer for some), then back to the patisserie and bouchere for supplies (pastries and some horse meet sausage) for the bus trip to Vichy.
In true French style, despite the crowds in town for the Tour, lunch time is important and both shops had closed for an hour or two. Good priorities.
