      Went to look at the leaning tower of Pisa which is a bell tower made of white marble sitting next to the cathedral and the Baptist building used to baptise the people. It was built in the square of miracles they started building it in 1173 and it wasn't finished until 1370 Professor Berlined was commissioned in 1922 to make the tower safe without straightening it.       ... as it is all the things we want to
      bring back but will put too much excess on our luggage, this way it will go
      back cheap enough even though it will take at least a month. I think we did a really
      good job and also managed to add a couple of pairs of shoes and some clothing…
      I had the job of actually packing up the boxes which ended up being pretty
      simple. I left them un-taped just in case we want to add anything.

      We finally got to the city of Lucca, which would be our home base for our time in Tuscany. We rented an apartment on third or fourth floor of an old, dusty building. The lobby of the building and the main stairs looked old and run down, but the apartment was a bit of a surprise.

      ... and unexciting, and so we headed back into the hills, and within minutes the scenery changed, after going through another tunnel, into much more interesting countryside with hills, streams, lovely houses, gardens and other vegetation.
