... across the bow, heading from Greece to somewhere. I've only ever seen something like this in a civilian context air shows etc. But just a few kilometers away in Gaza there was an air raid that killed some boys on the beach. The two events are certainly unrelated, but it was a sharp reminder of how lucky we are to raise kids in an environment where fighter jet sounds are entertainment rather than omnipotent threat.

We got up this morning to fresh made croissants that had jelly IN them ( I don't think that Italians eat anything but carbs) and headed to San Marcos Square and the Doge Palace. ... The opera house was the most amazing I have seen. It is painted beautifully and decorated with real gold. The highlight of the day, however would have to have been the gondalar ride. Prices for a gondalar ride start at €80-100! But it was magnificent floating down the narrow canals and under bridges with the most picturesque scenery you could possibly imagine. It is truely a magical ...

... but if you are single you kiss him...he liked his job I think.

We had to stop by the McDonalds in Venice too just to see what the munu and food was like. Andrew said the Big Mac tasted the same. I got the McChicken sandwich...cost 4 Euros! Tasted a little different...there was a euro menu like our dollar menu but it only had a few things on it. Andrew was able to get a beer as well. They gave it to him in one of ...
