    ... on around the city. Bit of a tourist trap for lunch but not terrible. Rained most of the day but wasn't bad except walking back into the wind.     ... a a local ( Micky) and showed us many interesting things, including a real review of the fish market as his wife is Japanese and he spends a lot of time buying fish for sashimi there. Of note were the imprints in the old columns which specified the minimum size shellfish and whole fish that could be sold there. Marco Polos house was just an old house, not sign posted.     ... It was nice traveling with my family because they already had everything planned. I just decided to tag along. I didn't have to worry about transportation, lodging, activities, meals... I just went with the flow. It was nice:) I got to see the beach, their old house (they lived in Italy before Germany), had THE best gelato of my life, went to the us military base (my uncle works for the military, so my cousins all worked on the base). And the second day, we took a trip to Venice. ...

    ... polizia and fire boat stayed longer but we think they were ************...A small boat left pulling another small boat and there were about 6 people in that first boat.

    All that in one day! So eventful! We headed to bed knowing we had to be off the boat by 9:00.
