... can see it moving into the next valley. However I have two choices in approaching the Rhine. One is a shortcut to Basel over the hills (about 2,000ft); the other follows the canal to Mulhouse. So I'm definitely taking the canal route; just as well because, although Basle has better hostels, they're booked solid on a weekend. November 8 It has been a relaxed day in Besancon, walking around town and I got mad cause my father called and ate all my phone credits and I couldnt recharge my phone...
