We enjoyed seeing this charming scenic town, walked down to the lakeside, and wondered through the many shops around the cobblestoned city square. We did some Christmas shopping while in Locarno. The Swiss Frank is used for currency in Locarno and some shops only give back change in Swiss Franks in lieu of Euros.
