... have to do this soon though! It feels alot like being in Kelowna with the mountains surrounding the city, except of course they`re much larger, and a lot greener. Apparenly the skiing here is great! I guess Bolzano is like the Fernie of Italy.

Altogether it`s very different from Canada. It`ll take some getting used to, for sure, and I`m already a little homesick. Skype is a lifesaver though, it`s great being able to see and talk to my family. Still, I am very excited to be here!

At 2:48pm the train arrived in Bolzano/Bozen as indicated. Northern Italy is quite hilly with some great landscape for one's viewing enjoyment. I was quite surprised by the city of Bolzano. Everyone had a great time at the wedding, weather was brilliant. John was so hungry he even ate a flower, plate decoration and Orla tried to steal the show with her drunken antics.
On our last day in Malcesine we went to the top of a really big hill in a cable car, seen some cows and snow, played some crazy golf at a really late hour and had a few drinks with our friends, the last for a while.

I agreed to meet my professor, Paolo Scardi, and Mateo Leoni at the train station in the center of Trento to leave for a conference called Size-Strain V.
