... in and around the streets and alleys we found ourselves back at the train station with about 45 mins to spare. We sat in McDonalds which had various eateries in their stall. Barry ending up eating a delicious pizza - sitting indoors we all felt so comforted by the warmth - walking around outside all day in the cold air certainly made for some much needed for all of us now. The train trip back home was also very restful and very warm and a welcomed ...

Has now found a new home in the tip :( I went down to reception in my lunch break today to see the lady behind the desk at reception and explained that after the weekly clean of my apartment, a bag of my best underwear and a few tops were missing. She called the cleaner over and asked if she'd seen perhaps picked them up, to which she nodded and headed to the bin room. The bilingual receptionist adopted the role of ...

So jetlag got the better of me last night and I was awake and ready for the day ahead at 2am this morning. I remained awake despite various attempts to go to back to sleep, until 8am when I finally crashed for an hour. I had set my alarm for 9am (the time I had expected most cafes would be open for breakfast). After sacrificing dinner last night and having only plane food in my belly to keep me going I was beginning to experience hunger pains. Around 4am last night ...
