... Dessert and after dinner drinks spoiled each of us with either fresh fruit, or stracciatella ice cream. That along with "salted Carmel flavored vodka" (Denise found in the liquor store this morning), and Grand Marnier, with turkish coffee made the perfect ending to a perfect day. Denise and Dennus happily snuggled on the double bunk, and I blogged about 45 minutes, before I found myself falling asleep on the keyboard. Time to go to sleep on the island. Goodnight. xoxoxoxo ...

Woke up early to see the sun rising as we approached Turkey. Went on shore for a Diane and Tony tour which involves walking, taxis and getting lost but you see all the good stuff. Stumbled on a Turkish bath house and experienced the real deal. A massage to remember. Bodrum is beautiful and very hot, hunting for shade all the time. Back on the ship and heading to Santorini tomorrow ...

All this was happening before daylight.... 6:00a.m. It was no use trying to go back to sleep with all the ruckus next door. I do not know what they were doing, other than possibly trying to fix something......So up I got, folded my bed linen, got dressed, and ...

My very first impression upon awakening, was how beautifully breezy it is -- even though we are sandwiched between two boats much smaller than us. Maybe this is why the winds from the sea can reach us. Too bad these lovely, warm breezes can not stay with us. Last night trying to fall asleep was a challenge at best. There were harbor street lights shining on my pillow, and the very damp, stillness of a too hot night. Nelson had decided to "camp out", being on "guard duty" the other ...

... Jacques caught up with us, after we had finished our first, always weak round. Sitting at the table, Jacques pour himself a G/T three times stronger than Marina's and mine put together. Showering and changing, we were all ready to depart around 8:00p.m., for our dinner in town. When we reached the restaurant, we thought how silly we were for not making a reservation. This was a very good restaurant, and always popular. Our hopes for a garden table, were kiboshed, as we were seated at ...
