12 OCTOBER 2012 - (Cont’d) - We head off thanks to our trusty “Dimitri” (our gps) towards Monemvassia. We were driving along and admiring the pretty scenery for a few hours. Relaxing trip to Agios Andreas
... to Athens where we had a short wait for our flight to Heathrow. The flight was only 25 mins from Kalamata to Athens but we were given a drink and croissant and our knees were not tucked under our chins. The longer stretch from Athens to London was 4 hours. However, we had wine, a meal, drinks, headphones to use to watch the film and best of all, leg room!
All we have to do now is to plan our next visit!

By bus to Tolo, the slow scenic route

Pylos at it's finest

With business over I take a stroll along the pier to see a fantastic yacht "Sea Cloud" moored there.

Seaside Town
... at the Botana Herb Shop--very informative. We ended the evening with a romantic dinner outside and enjoyed a beautiful sunset with Venus in the sky to the north. Dinner was the perfect meal of pork goulash and stuffed cabbage at the famous Lela's Taverna. Quote of the day: "I travel light.
