We ended up getting to the hotel at about 8 PM, so didn't have time to go back into town for dinner and to see the city. It was a bit of a bugger considering we won't have time tomorrow as we are at CERN all day. Instead, we went next door to a nice Italian place. I had an awesome risotto, and many of the others got other fantastic looking pasta dishes and pizzas.
Now that I know how to read the boat schedule, getting back home was a snap! We decided at that rate we could just about fly for the same price and pulled off onto the more rural roads.
Annecy was our first stop which in July/August is a bustling tourist city located ...
