Our tour bus arrived, two min-busses holding 12 people each. And with these buses came a support convoy! In front of us we had armed police on an open backed landrover, then a closed in 4 by 4 with several tour guides in. Then our two mini busses, then behind us an ambulance! Apparently someone had been taken ill on the last cruise tour in Angola ...
... wait 6 more hours, but oh well, what can you do. So, everyone left for the morning flight and I was just sitting there. About 10 minutes before that flight was supposed to leave, a company guy came in and asked me why I wasn't on the flight. I told him I had an afternoon ticket. He said that didn't matter, i needed to be on that flight. So, it was a rush to get the last seat on the plane.

In the Nora Vida condo, I met his ex fiancÚ who owns a bakery there. We all went in the rising heat of this sunny Luanda morning. It was brilliant seeing from his car the workings of the various businesses in the outskirts of this huge city.
