    ... travel tales. There were two Australians staying in the hostel; one from Newcastle and one from Geelong. I think that was the most Aussies I had encountered in one place at the one time this whole trip. I headed out for a quick bite at a Lithuanian restaurant nearby that Renata recommended. The food was very filling and quite cheap, but I had had better Lithuanian cuisine elsewhere.

    ... back to Vilnius before the rain came. It eased off, however, when we arrived back in Vilnius, so Vytaute then took us for a final tour around the city, mainly for Sarina's sake, as all she has really seen of Vilnius is the Old Town. I have managed to get a fair amount of washing done during the time in the apartment, and there is only a few things needing to dry a little more before we pack tomorrow. We might be on holiday, but we still have to worry about getting our clothes ...

    ... me. Carried the topics of conversation with SImona. Had a sorbet for dessert [73/9].

    Most wanted the shortest route home while Kevin and I opted to walk one final time through the old town. It was fairly quiet. Some Rachel jokes were in order. The group save Old Bag[gier] were in the lobby. Farewells ultimately to all save Lardass and the Yanks, some genuine, some forced.

    Upstairs to finish off the Vana Tallinn with Kevin and bed after 2230.

    ... the Chabbad House nearby and invites us over for the Sabbath. We are exhausted at this point and all we want to do is head home. But when we do, we discover that he is the only Rabbi in Lithuania (Sholom Ber Krinsky) and we completely randomly run into him on some tiny street next to some allegedly autonomous tiny neighborhood in Vilnius. Seriously.
    So now we're just relaxing in our hostel, sitting here and stalking an Irish guy and a Jew. How very European. ...
