    ... of the longer stays.

We took a walk into the local village, Capmany, this morning, found the cafè/bar and got an ice cream and found the deli and got lunch, a nice walk around the narrow streets before we headed back to the site. After lunch we had a game of pétanque and chilled out in the sun. This evening we will pack up ready for our move tomorrow for the first of our longer stays.

From Girona we took a secondary road to Figueres, through pleasant farming country with views of some of the smaller Pyrenees outliers. Figueres is the birthplace of artist Salvador Dali and the place where he established his famous theatre museum. ... used here in walls, roads and houses is amazing, and some so very old , so much work! ,
We saw older cyclists, hikers and Harley bikers near the lighthouse before heading up the mountain and through the 18 roundabouts on our way to Nice! Only 580klms - great roads and maybe stop of at Nimes in France to see the famous Aqueduct I saw 40 years ago if I see a sign off the tollway! Calideques has been a very interesting less than 24 hour visit!!

Tossa de Mar - simply wonderful!

... a few quadbikes going to do the shopping! Just watch for the One Way signs!! Sharpie dropped and picked up our luggage on one of these streets We walked up to the castle on the hill which was an old monastery at the top and now there are a couple of restaurants/bars within the stone walls. One at the very top isright near the edge of a cliff and its deck looks put over the ocean. So inviting we had a wine to soak in ...
