... Van Gogh, did a lot of his work and we went to the cafe where he sketched and got inspiration. Also here was a great produce market and a big gothic stadium, they now hold concerts in. Tomorrow will be nice to see the sights of Barcelona and not travel 680 k.m.s!

The day began with a group mission to find authentic Spanish Espadrilles in Barcelona. On our way to a store that the internet promised to be our best chance at avoiding buying a cheap copy of the original shoe we stopped in the St Joseph Market to scope out our self-catering dinner options. ... There are a couple grocery stores near by. I attempted to make chicken rice and veggies but I over cooked the chicken, rice was still crunchy and the veggies we got were gross. Started the day with the traditional long breakfast and slow pack up - till the pool opened at 11am. Swim in the sweet pool for a cool down - we were ready for Barca! First stop... Barca home ground of Camp Nu - 99,000 capacity home ground of the 'greatest football team in the world'.
