... clambered into Nigel and made our way to Strobl where we caught a bus to Salzburg. And Today has been Salzburg day. A very nice looking, clean city with some spectacular churches and buildings, and Never ending references to Mozart - well he was born there!!! We wondered through the narrow streets taking photos and just absorbing the place. It was great. The pictures won't do it justice. At the end of the day we left our mark in Salzburg by having our own ...

After the ice cave tour we made our way back down the mountain to our boiling hot waiting car and set coordinates to our next stop. The "Eagles Nest": also known as Hitler's summer retreat. All in all we had a really fun time on all of our day-trip adventures while Barb and Carly were here! It was sad but interesting to learn about the victims of the Third Reich, but also indescribable to see Königssee and the Eagle's Nest. I would definitely recommend seeing all of it if you ever get the opportunity to visit Germany!

Well friends, that's all I've got for now!

    Cheers!

... in to see some Christmas markets. First gluhwein and gingerbread for Christmas 2014 and of course all the beautiful lights.

On Sunday we took the children to a great local bakery for coffee (our most expensive coffees yet at $5.50AUD a cup) & grittibanz (little man in bread dough). We then walked to the local playground. Very impressive playground with a big mouse wheel which generated electricity! Who said child labour was dead...but ...

... came, he wasn't on a bike. In fact, he was in a car. He told us the fine was 20 euros.... which was better than we thought. The police also asked for our passports and drivers license, but we had left our passports safe and sound back in our hotel. Luckily he let it go, and we made our way to the Fortress. We explored for a while, and we even took a few pictures of Waddles! In one picture, you have to try and find ...
