We spent the morning at the salt mine. The tour starts with putting coveralls on. We then went on a mini train. If you were taller than 6 feet you have to be careful because there is not much headroom. The tunnels are very narrow. You start the tour by sliding down a 50 foot wooden slide to the mine. They explain how they mine the salt. There use to be a salt water ocean 14 million years ago that evaporated ...

We spent the day in Salzburg, about 30 km from Ramsau. After breakfast we headed to a park and ride on the outskirts of Salzburg and took the bus into downtown. Parking is crazy and expensive in the tourist area. It was only about 15 minutes into town. The shops, churches and fortress were amazing. Everything is expensive. We didn't buy much. We toured the cemetery by St. Peter's church and ...

... face slapped onto it, be it chocolates, pens, shirts, or even perfumes. I was certain you'd be able to find Mozart branded condoms here too!

    6. The shops that sold pretty things. I couldn't believe they had shops here that only sold Christmas trinkets and Easter eggs, all year round! They were gorgeous, but oh-so useless 10 months out of the 12. Being close to Easter, you could also find lots of market stalls that sold rabbit and ...

... They backtracked their steps as I did and eventually reunited with Duster.. We hooked back onto the autobahn and pointed the car towards Vienna. As we drove out of Salzburg, we came across this magnificent lake nestled in the valley of mountain region. We had to stop and take a closer look, before grabbing a coffee and continuing onto Vienna. Vienna is beautiful. The buildings are huge and full of grandeur..our booked hostel, was ...
