... Police have quite a presence in the Czech Republic and in Hungary, however not in black uniforms but plain colours. They are always in pairs and just walk around the main squares and shopping centres, maybe it's to limit crime but they're not intimidating, just there! You never get ice in a cold drink nor do you get asked if you want ice, it's not there! ... how they flush, it's interesting. Walking - in the 6 days that we have been here I have walked nearly 20 miles (My IPod has a pedometer in it).
