    ... but is still easier than the track down from the main road to the apartment. Wendy makes a fabulous salad and we take ourselves and the food and beer down to the garden where we enjoy an excellent lunch. The afternoon then is spent lounging around enjoying the sun and the view. Dinner we eat in - Liz has made spaghetti which is great and the wine we bought in Bellagio sets it off beautifully.     ... back towards the waterfront, down many stairs and found a cafe for lunch. Of course there was a water view.     ... have coffee while they wait. There are no ticket machines in sight but we see a parking inspector and ask. He tells us that it is free for two hours and you have to write the time you arrive on a note and leave on your dashboard. You think that would work in Australia? So we head our respective ways.     ... to pick up Karin's mother who is coming to stay so I booked lunch for us at the Hermitage in the Col d'Eze which was a good choice as it was a beautiful setting and great food. A bit off the beaten track so a lot less crowded than anything on the coast and with easy parking. Karin and Mark took all the photos so I guess they will be for the next blog.
